Juliet is a Métis (Cree/ Gwich’in/ English) visual artist with maternal roots in Fort Chipewyan and Red River. Born on Vancouver Island, she is a citizen of the Métis Nation of British Columbia. Juliet is a painter and a beadwork artist. She moved to Tiohtià:ke/Montreal in 2015 to study visual arts. She holds a BFA in Painting and is currently a PhD Candidate at Concordia University. Juliet started Little Moon Creations in 2020 as a way to share her beadwork during the pandemic. Juliet’s artwork is inspired by her appreciation for nature, her family, and her Métis culture.
