We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival is officially coming to CF Toronto Eaton Centre!
Join us from May 30 to June 2 for a sartorial expression of Indigenous sovereignty as we take over one of North America’s busiest retail hubs, in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Each day of the Festival will conclude with a signature IFA Festival Runway show that will transform the iconic CF Toronto Eaton Centre. From Thursday to Sunday evening, the centre will transform into a vibrant, after-hours fashion show venue for a celebration of Indigenous talent and creativity.
The IFA Festival Marketplace will take place throughout the centre all day Saturday and Sunday, where Indigenous artists, designers, and makers from Canada and around the world will gather to present a range of handmade pieces including fashion accessories, textiles, home accents and more. This year’s marketplace includes an Abiayala Spotlight featuring ten Indigenous designers from Central and South America, each drawing inspiration from a deep ancestral, knowledge source that brings new, contemporary energy into the world of fashion.
Through our partnership with CF Toronto Eaton Centre, IFA continues to foster celebration and reverence for the deep connections between mainstream fashion, Indigenous art and our traditional practices. We look forward to the powerful presence of our community in the landmark retail destination for our biggest and broadest audiences yet.
We thank CF Toronto Eaton Centre for supporting us in realizing our vision.
