Indigenous Fashion Arts (IFA) seeks volunteers for the fourth biennial Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival! Leading up to and during May 30 – June 2, 2024
The IFA Festival features fashion, craft, and textiles created by Indigenous artists and designers from Canada and worldwide. It will be held in downtown Toronto from May 30 to June 2, 2024. The Festival showcases four runway shows with 27 Indigenous designers, a marketplace with over 80 vendors selling unique Indigenous-made collections, hands-on workshops, and panel discussions that explore Indigenous-led fashion in creation, expression, entrepreneurship, and scholarship.
We are looking for volunteers to help in various aspects of the festival, including our Runway Shows, Marketplace, Industry events, Artist Receptions, hands-on Workshops, Panels, Guest Services and more.
IFA volunteers are essential to the success of our programs, including the biennial Festival. We will reciprocate your support by providing letters confirming your placement hours for educational or other requirements, tickets to runway shows and panels, access to special events or sponsor swag. You also gain access to one of Toronto’s rising marquee events!
Our online IFA Volunteer Information Center will be your one-stop location for signing up for shifts, checking your schedule, updating information, and receiving messages.
