In this introductory workshop on applique for regalia, Rhonda Doxtator will teach traditional applique methods for Pow Wow regalia, including classic raw edge (or zig-zag) and free-motion embroidery. Rhonda will lead participants through the process of design and colour selection, which is significant in regalia making. Participants will choose their favourite method to create a unique pouch to bring home with them.
IFA provides participants with all materials and access to a domestic sewing machine.
This applique workshop is a one-day workshop with two date options.
