Rhonda Doxtator is Turtle clan from the Oneida Nation of the Thames.  Her true name is Kawisahawi which means She Is Carrying Ice in the Oneida language.  She is a proud grandmother, hoop dancer, a jingle dress dancer, traditional singer and regalia designer.  From the age of 12, Rhonda has been developing her skill as a beader, and regalia maker.  Taught by her late aunt Eva Doxtator, Rhonda was able to develop her own style and has devoted this creative energy to making regalia for children and youth who wish to dance.
