Katie Mooney is a Metis woman from the traditional homeland of the Metis in Treaty 6 territory. Katie finds the most joy in management and as a costumer. Katie’s focus is to bring untold stories to the forefront and presenting work that deals with social justice and barriers to spark meaningful conversation and change. Katie has been fortunate to work within the Indigenous arts community in Canada, as a Production Coordinator with the Indspire Awards, Stage Manager of Creative Native, and as a Clearance Editor on Friday Night Thunder. She has had the honour to work Nationally and Internationally (Australia, Greece, and Morocco in theatre, fashion, and the film sector. Katie’s work has been a part of the Banff International Film Festival, Parados Festival, I am the Bridge Festival and the Asian Pacific Bond Festival.
