IFA Seeks Runway and Marketplace Applications from Indigenous Artists & Designers

The Indigenous Fashion Arts (IFA) Festival returns May 30 – June 2, 2024, at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In the heart of Toronto, the IFA Festival celebrates Indigenous fashion, art, culture and creativity for all audiences. The Festival attracts thousands of visitors and showcases boundary-pushing fashion performance, installation, thought and retail in runway shows, an outdoor marketplace, a symposium, hands-on workshops, an art exhibition and industry events.
Until May 5, 2023, IFA is accepting applications from Indigenous artists, designers, collectives and brands to participate in the runway and marketplace programs at the 2024 Festival. Selected designers join an influential Indigenous-led platform at the intersection of fashion and art. In 2022, highlights included sold-out shows, over 11,000 unique in-person visitors, access to industry leaders and buyers, and prominent publicity with media outlets including Vogue, FASHION, and In Studio Magazine.
