April Bell of Et’oa’s Earrings, a Dene artist from Denedeh (NWT), is skilled in hide tanning, tufting, beading, and quill work, a heritage from her mother and grandmother. She owns a Yellowknife store with local crafts and Indigenous art, and assists Elders in friendship centre craft workshops.
