Livia Manywounds, also known by her traditional name “Blackfoot Woman,” hails from the Tsuut’ina (Dene), Siksika (Blackfoot) and Stoney Nakoda (Sioux) Nations from the Treaty 7 area in Southern Alberta, Canada. She is the owner of Dancing Storm Designs. Livia showcased her works at the Otahpiaaki Fashion Showcase (2017) and the Yukon Rendezvous Fashion Show (2020). Livia’s slogan is “A Buffalo Robe tells the stories of my ancestors, my creations tell my story.” Livia’s work shapes the fashion world with a cultural attitude and a visible representation of her people and ancestors.
