Single mom of two, and aspiring fashion designer. Wabigonikwe Tenasco is influenced by her Algonquin and Mohawk cultural heritage. She designs and creates traditional and contemporary clothing for men, women, and children, along with quilts, and commissioned work. Wabigonikwe has participated in events including Dressed to Kilt Fashion Show (NYC, NC), Abenaki Mohawk Art Market (Blue Mountain Lake, NY.), Blue Ribbon on “My Wedding Dress”, which is currently on display at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake, NY, Judge’s Choice Award on “Styling in the Office” and Fashion After Dark Fashion Show (Cornwall, ON).
