Marcos Arcentales
Marcos Arcentales is a trailblazer of Andean music in Canada beginning in the 80’s. He formed Indigenous fusion band Kanatan Aski, nominated for a Juno in 1994. Marcos is co-founder of family run store Pacha Indigenous Art Collection, bringing forward the philosophy of “Condor Meets the Eagle” through hand-made items, as well as through his own jewellery line Bone & Quill. Marcos is also the co-founder of the first Indigenous Pop-Up Market on Queen St W., Toronto and is currently working on a 30 year music recording titled Indigenous World Project featuring powerhouses such as Pura Fe and Jason Burnstick.
