16-year-old Émilie McKinney is from Swan Lake First Nation, Manitoba and is a bilingual student (French and English) at École Régional Notre-Dame. She is an international dancer (hoop, fancy, jingle & traditional) and an artist. Émilie needed a new jingle dress. Natalie Foidart, her mom and Émilie McKinney called the local supplier to get jingles who, to their surprise, had since retired. Without any local jingle suppliers, Émilie decided that she would locally make and retail jingles.
