Melrene Saloy is from the Blood Tribe of Southern Alberta, Canada, residing in Calgary, Alberta. She is also the proud mother of two children. A small business owner for over four years, Merlrene started with a dream, passion, and a lot of support. Now a grassroots artisan with influences from the beading traditions of her family, the black foot people and the land. Melrene is primarily a bead artist and jewelry maker but is also keen on design, graphic design and mixed media. Combining her loves of craft, beadwork, fashion, and business, Melrene developed Native Diva Creations.
