Audrey is from Anizaatikoong (Lac Des Mille Lacs) First Nation and currently resides in
Thunder Bay, Ontario. She is an Eastern Woodland artist who translates her
Anishinaabe culture visually, through natural fibers honouring the material culture via
adornment made from wood, outer and inner bark, sweetgrass, animal parts, quills,
shells , semi -precious stones, copper, hides and incorporate glass beads, and other
findings.
“I listen to the spirit of all things, to my ancestors, to my dreams that guide me to bring
out what is shown and told to me.”
